Skilled nursing services are available at Longview twenty-four hours a day. Our nursing staff work closely with the patient's physician to coordinate and provide nursing care. Certified nurse aides and charge nurses provide high quality direct patient care. Longview Home also has a eighteen bed Alzheimer's Unit with an enclosed courtyard.

 

One of our unique areas of specialty is skilled rehabilitation. We employ a full-time rehabilitation aide and have contracted with RehabCare for top of the line physical, occupational and speech therapy.

 

Nutritional services are provided under the direction of a registered licensed dietitian. Longview's dietary manager and dietitian prepare special diets for each resident according to their needs and tastes and as prescribed by their physician. The dietary staff take pride in providing attractive and appetizing meals. Family members are welcome to dine with the resident occasionally if so desired.
